LensTokyo is a photographic travel guide catered to those planning to visit Tokyo and/or Japan. We focus on creating guides for photography enthusiasts whether they be professional or amateur. By compiling all the photogenic spots in Tokyo we have created a photography shortcut for travelers who have limited time in the country. We distinguish ourselves from the hundreds of other travel guides in Japan by introducing the most trending photo spots on Instagram and photography locations that are impossible to find elsewhere on the internet. Our aim is to inspire and help coming travelers with photographic ideas in Japan and information on locations to make the most of your trip.


What is the LensTokyo Photographic Guide Tokyo?
The LensTokyo Photographic Guide to Tokyo is a guide for photography enthusiasts traveling to Tokyo or Japan. We have compiled all the photogenic spots in Tokyo and have created a photography shortcut for travelers who have limited time in the country. The guide is different from the hundreds of other travel guides in Japan because it introduces the most trending photo spots on Instagram and photography locations that are impossible to find elsewhere on the internet. To do this, we painstakingly travel to each spot and spends hours on a single spot to determine the best time of day and angle to shoot there. The LensTokyo Photograhic Guide contains all the information of the spot from directions and best ways to shoot the spot.


Can you share the e-book/PDF with your friends and/or family?
No. As per the Terms of Use and EULA of LensTokyo we do not allow sharing of the e-book/PDF. After every purchase we stamp the buyer’s name, email and transaction number onto the PDF so in case it is shared we will know who shared to who and when it occurred. A PDF stamp is a security measure that has proven to be a successful method against piracy.


Can you refund the e-book guide after purchase?
We stand behind our products and your satisfaction with them is important to us. However, because our products are digital goods delivered via Internet download our policy is not to offer refunds. Please read the Refund Policy for further information.

 
How will I receive the e-book guide?
Our products are delivered by internet download only. After your purchase has been approved we will process your order. Orders are typically processed within one 1 hour but could take as long as twenty four 24 hours to complete. Once your order has been processed we will send you a confirmation email using the email address you provided on our order form. The email will serve as your electronic purchase receipt and will contain the information you need to access our product downloads.

The e-book you receive will also be stamped with buyer’s name, email and transaction number so we can track if the e-book is shared without our consent.


Can you find for us a specific spot from a picture?
We at LensTokyo love photography. But love wandering around and exploring the city as equally. Through years of walking and exploring we pride ourselves in knowing a bit of Tokyo, especially the photogenic places. If you have a picture in hand and want to know where in Japan or Tokyo it was taken feel free to contact us.

      

How does LensTokyo work?
Browse through all the photo spots we offer via the All Images tab, or the All Articles tab. The images tab shows you all the individual photo spots we offer and the articles tab shows you all the articles written with collective photo spots. You can buy the e-book/PDF via the Buy page.

Once you receive the e-book, which you can access from any mobile device, tablet or computer, you can browse through the photo spots to know exactly where the location is including the directions and how to take the best picture at the spot.

The e-book photography travel guide of Tokyo will have direct links to google maps for easy use and links for additional information. By simply clicking on the links on the e-book you will be directed to the corresponding page.


Are there photographic guides for other cities of Japan?
Currently we only have the guide for Tokyo but are planning to expand to other cities within Japan. Keep visiting the website for updates and news on other products. You can also send us suggestion of a city or a spot via the Contact Us page.


How accurate and updated are the content or locations in the guide?
Although we try our best to keep all the photo spots up-to-date, considering the sheer number of spots we are offering it is impossible to check all the spots regularly. We only update the photography spots once in a while and are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. Hence, any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk. Please read the Terms of Use for further information.


What are the payment methods available?
Currently we offer Paypal and Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard and American Express) payment via Stripe on our website.


How Do I use the e-book guide?

We periodically update the e-book/PDF with new spots and updates on existing spots. The link to the updated version will be sent to you via email.
